The Extreme Scream: Shaft 13 The Legend of Hob and the Hell Express - Pleasurewood Hills

For the darker side of Halloween, go for the Extreme Scream upgrade which gives you entry to our two brilliant scare mazes.

The Hell Express will take you on a journey which is the stuff of nightmares, while Shaft 13: The Legend of Hob will see you explore a haunted abandoned mine shaft. Both mazes have had some new twists and turns added which will help keep you on your toes even if you’ve ventured into them before.

Be warned – The scare mazes are for only the bravest adventurers and a minimum age of 12 applies (guest discretion is advised). The Extreme Scream upgrade costs £6 for entry to both scare mazes. The upgrade can be purchased online when you buy your entry to the park or can be bought in the park when you visit.

Please note that maze tickets are non-refundable. They are designed to scare. Below is a non-exhaustive list of conditions that may impact your experience of the mazes. If you suffer from any of the listed, or anything you may feel may impede on your physical or mental state, please do not attend.

Terms and conditions

All packages must be pre-booked and pre-paid at least two weeks’ in advance of the planned party date. A 20% deposit is required upon booking. Please note that we are unable to refund children cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Free admission for parents of the birthday child who are season pass holders will not be entitled to the free admission for parents as this is already included with the pass. Both season pass and non season pass birthday bookings are to collect their entry bands from reception upon arrival.

Menu requirements must be provided at least three days prior to the party; this will help us to deliver a prompt service and not delay your fun.

The prices shown are irrespective of age. Guests under 90cm in height enter the park free of charge (meals are chargeable). Groups are a minimum of 20 paid guests.

These group rates cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts. In order to guarantee the above group rates, we would need a firm booking together with payment at least 14 days in advance of your visit.

Our corporate packages are bespoke based on the requirements of our guests. Exclusive use of park venues are subject to availability. Request for use of the park's conference facilities must be made no less than 14 days prior to visit. Enquiries are confirmed once an invoice has been issued. Any changes of numbers must be confirmed no later than 14 days prior to the date of visit. Bookings with late changes will be charged at the original invoice amount.
