Two barn owls from Pleasurewood Hills swapped life in Lowestoft for a warmer climate when they filmed their roles for a popular TV series.
Toni and Guy, who have been residents at the theme park for over 12 years, made their TV debut in the Durrells which recently made its return to ITV.
The series is set in Corfu and follows the story of the Durrell family as they settle in to life on the Greek island. The pair are the latest birds to join the family after be taken in by Gerald, the youngest member of the Durrell family, who went on to make a name for himself as a renowned naturalist and conservationist.
Toni and Guy are not the only residents of Pleasurewood Hills to star in the drama as they follow in the footsteps of the flamingos, ravens and pelicans who have all made an appearance in the show.
Having enjoyed a break from the British weather, Toni and Guy are now back to their usual routine. You can see them for yourself in the parrot show which starts at 1 and 4pm every day the park is open.
