After what has been a rollercoaster year for all we are thrilled to be welcoming back fun lovers to the region’s award-winning theme park once again. Behind the scenes a lot of development has been taking place to start another season of family fun.
Sea Lion Splash
Our flippered friends have had extensive works carried out. Now branded as the Sea Lion Splash, the area has been given a superb new finish with an authentic Californian style rockery backdrop with high rise platform and waterfall features, giving Claude and friends a truly enriching experience and environment. The front has been crafted with a new rockery effect, new railings for enhanced safety as well as floral arrangements which given some sun rays and sprinkling will over time blossom into a divine floral visual.
Water Fun Factory
The works to the East Coast’s favourite log flume have continued with new elements to the queue lane, as well as show casing our new signage and safety board format, all custom designed for Pleasurewood Hills. Coupled with dazzling red bushes to compliment the colour of the theming, hand made bird boxes which home our speakers broadcasting the fun-filled soundtrack, the flume has come together as a super soaking, fun theme park experience.
In addition to the Water Fun Factory, we have regenerated the photo booth, along with the new colour scheme and fencing towards Marble Madness, to enhance the visual feel of the area.
New logos and signage
Some of your favourite family attractions have been given fresh new logos and identities, really connecting with our ethos of Fun. Following the announcement of new images for Marble Madness and the aptly named Water Fun Factory, we have had expertly crafted illustrations for Jolly Roger, Shiver Me Timbers, Moby Dick, Cannonball Express, Sea Lion Splash and what was the Balloon Rays, is now the sky adventure of Up & Away.
Car Park and admissions
Throughout the car park we have enhanced the guest’s welcome with bright and vibrant new signage that offer a nice warm welcome and starts the fun from the moment our guests arrive. Clear new branded signage has been added to the car park to enhance the brand image as well as add extra clarity for our guest’s ease. Upon entry we have also added new vinyl to our kiosks, encapsulating the brand visual with messages of season passes and points towards the new app.
A digital future
Pleasurewood Hills has also introduced an app, where are guests can enjoy a seamless experience, before, during and after their visit. In one place our guests can keep their tickets, purchase for future visits, view the map, find all the latest news and ride information as well as receive exciting offers.
On 28th April 2021, Pleasurewood Hills will be unveiling the new park website, giving our guests a fun and accessible mobile experience as well as great new feel for desktops. It will include engaging new features, a friendly design with ease of navigation and a branded feel to take the park into an exciting digital future.
With all this and so much more happening across the park, these are truly exciting times. Sales & Marketing Manager Andrew Fuller welcomes the new changes. “Pleasurewood Hills is a centre-piece of the East Coast’s leisure and hospitality industry. The park has made so many memories over the years and has so much potential, the future is truly exciting”.
