OUR PARK AND FACILITIES

Onsite parking is available at Pleasurewood Hills with dedicated disabled bays and allocated coach parking.

The park is open between April and October on selected dates. For opening dates click here.
The park is open from 10am. Closing times may vary. Please check the close time on your date of visit on the opening calendar.

Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Any under 12s without adult supervision will be refused entry.

We hire out mobility scooters, strollers and wheelchairs. Please note they are limited and are on a first come first served basis. The best way to secure your hire is to prebook the item online using the add-on option on the order confirmation page.

The 2024 prices for day hire are;

  • Mobility scooters: £25
  • Strollers (Double): £12
  • Strollers (Single): £8
  • Wheelchair: £5 

We have lockers to hire for guests. They are located near the main entrance, payable by card or contactless only. Please note that lockers are subject to availability.

Dogs (except guide and assistance dogs) are not allowed on park. Please note that under no circumstances should dogs be left in vehicles on our car park.

Yes, once in the park and upon leaving, you will be given a handstamp to grant you return entry for the remainder of the day.

It is very important to stay hydrated, especially in the hot summer months. As well as the soft drinks sold at our outlets, we also provide free drinking water taps, located at the toilet blocks around the park.

Yes we accept cash. Please note we have one admissions till that accepts cash, the rest are card only. The below venues are able to accept cash.

We also accept most major debit and credit cards, and contactless including Apple and Google Pay. Please note we do not currently accept American Express. The below venues accept card and contactless only;

We are unable to offer cash back at Pleasurewood Hills. There is no card machine (ATM) on site. The nearest ATM is at Tesco on Lesiure Way, approximately 5-10 minute walk from the park.

We hope that everyone has a brilliant time during their visit but if something falls short of your expectations, please talk to a team member on the day of your visit. They will help to address any issues you are having and, if they are unable to help you personally will refer you to the Duty Manager.


If you feel your complaint has not been resolved on the day of your visit please email reception@pleasurewoodhills.com. To help us fully investigate your feedback please attach your booking confirmation together with the date of your visit and a phone number so that a member of our team can contact you.

There are presently no designation smoking areas on park. Areas that smoking is not permitted is any inodoor facility, in or around any food outlets, any ride queues or in any crowd seating for indoor or outdoor shows. We ask guests to be responsible and dispose or used cigarettes correctly and responsibly.

RIDES & ATTRACTIONS

Rides and attaractions are subject to height restrictions as stipulated by the ride manufacturers – full details are included on the ride information page of our website. If you are unsure whether the ride is suitable for you or a member of your party, look out for the height boards near each ride entrance for details of any minimum or maximum restrictions. Please note a ride operative reserves the right to query and challenge height to ensure the safety of our guests.

Yes we do. We understand some guests require additional assistance and offer priority boarding. This is valid for guests with disabilities only. This will allow eligible guests to queue via the ride’s exit lane. Guests will be required to provide evidence of eligibility, this would include;

 

Evidence of receipt of Personal Independence Payment/Disability Living Allowance

Consultant letter/report/diagnosis

Disability travel ID with photograph

 

Please note there are two rides on the park on the park that do not allow priority boarding, they are Cannonball Express and Wavebreaker.

When Priority Boarding, can you can do so on each ride once every half an hour. People with a Priority Boarding pass can be accompanied by three guests.

We love to welcome vloggers. Cameras must be approved by park management and the park’s technical team to ensure that fastenings are suitable and safe. Loose items such as mobile phones should not be taken on to rides. Operators reserve the right to question and challenge the filming on rides should they feel permission and equipment checking has not been fulfilled. Eating or drinking is not permitted on any of our rides or attractions. 

TICKETS & BOOKINGS

We operate a dynamic pricing system for dated entry tickets. This means that our dated entry is pre discounted, so our guests can enjoy a fun day out at great value. The prices vary according to a number of factors such as time of year, day of the week, weather etc. It operates in a similar way to plane, train and hotel services. Essentially the earlier purchase, the better chances of savings.

 

Please note that the entry ticket pricing and prediscounted rates are for advance purchases. The ticket prices will by default, increase to gate rate on the date date of visit. 

We offer a concession rate of £18.50 per guest. All tickets must be pre-booked online. For evidence to qualify for priority boarding we require to see either;

 

  • Official printed documentation of receipt of disability benefit or diagnosis from Department of Work and Pensions or NHS accompanied with a photo ID for the concession claimant. Please note we no dot accept screenshots of documents nor bank statements via any means.

  • A Nimbus Access Card or equivalent

 

For a carer concession we only accept official printed documentation from DWP of receipt of carers allowance accompanied by a photo ID or a professional carers photo ID card.  We do not accept screenshots or bank statements. Carers are a paid concession.

All guests have to pay to enter the park. The non-rider option has been discontinued.

No we do not offer a rainy day guarantee. However, we do provide guests the option to change a date of visit. This can be done via the webshop and choosing the option "I want to reschedule". This must be done in advance, we recommend 24 hours ahead of the date of visit. Date changes cannot be made on the date of visit. There is a fee for this service.To change the date you will require the email address used to purchase the tickets, and your order number, which will be included on your tickets and your confirmation email.

 

Tickets are non-refundable.

We love to support blue light and NHS workers and military personnel with discounted fun days out. The concession is just £18.50 for the card holder and per person for three guests. Concessions can be purchased online or at the gate. You will need to provide a valid concession entitlemment (such as a Blue Light card via a physical card or shown via their app) accomapnied with an in-date photographic ID, such as a driver's licence or pass port to validate the conessional card ownership.

Tesco Clubcard vouchers are only valid against full-priced day entry admission (£25 per person).

Guests using Tesco Clubcard voucher codes no longer need to pre-book their tickets online. Simply present your Clubcard voucher code that starts with PWH at the main gate on the day of your visit. Any remaining amount due can be paid via cash (on designated tills), card or contactless.

Please be advised that Tesco Clubcard points are not valid against season passes, pre-booked, online, any other promotions and offers or concessions. They cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Please note that we cannot give change for any Tesco vouchers.

We offer discounted group rates.

 

20-49 people - £19 per person

50-99 people - £18 per person

100+ people - £17 per person

Please note the above prices are valid for only pre-booked groups. Those visiting on the day or groups of 10-19 will be eligable to pay the group pay on the day rate of just £21 per person.

There is no pre-requisite to print tickets. The most common way of showing your entry ticket is by digital, either with the app or as a download. Please refrain from using screenshots as downsampling can make it difficult to scan and this can inscrease wait times.

If your voucher has an online voucher code it can only be used online and not on the gate. Please use the shop option "I Have a Discount Voucher". Holiday park and season pass afilliate codes use different links which will be provided on advertising material distributed at the holiday park or through e-communications from our season pass affiliates. When the shop loads you will need to enter the code when prompted on the screen. Voucher codes cannot be used with our online discounted tickets and can only be used for standard full price day entry at £25 per person. Please note all our promotions except Tesco Clubcard, are online only.

HEALTH RELATED QUESTIONS

Some of our rides include flash photography and may not be suitable from those who suffer from photo-sensitive epilespy. These are Rootin Tootin’ Target Trail, Wipeout, Water Fun Factory, Egg-Spress and Marble Madness.

In the event first aid is required, our team will provide initial on scene treatment, and if required, recommend any follow up. Our team are unable to issue any pain relief (including paracetamol and ibuprofen), antihistamine or any other medication.

We strongly advise, and our safety signs reiterate, that pregnant women or women who believe they may be pregnant, should not use rides.

All our rides have safety notifications and iterate strongly that if you have a pre-existing injury or medical issue, to refrain from using rides. If you have a serious medical issue such as but not limited to heart problems, you must not use any of the rides. Please be aware that using any of the attractions you do so at your own choice and you own risk.

EATING AT PLEASUREWOOD HILLS

Yes we have a wide assortment of flavours across Pleasurewood Hills to enjoy. There are burger specials at Smokey Joes, chicken dishes at Roosters, authentic Italian thin crust pizzas at Tonys, hot dogs at The Galley and mouth-watering Mexican street food at Amigos.

 

For a sweet taste, Parrot Ices has a wide range of Cornish ice cream flavours plus donuts, sweet waffles at The Galley and churros from Amigos.

Yes, we are proud to offer a range of plant based foods. Our chips are fried separately and are vegan friendly. We offer a vegan option for pizzas (sweetcorn and pepper/Margherita) with a vegan cheese. There is a vegan friendly vegetable mince topping at Amigos for loaded friends or burrito. The park also offers a falafel burger available at The Galley and Smokey Joes. Roosters also offers a Quorn Buttermilk burger that is also suitable for vegans.

 

For a sweet palate, Parrot Ices offers a Mixed Berry sorbet from Kellys. This is lactose free and is suitable for vegans.

We offer a gluten free pizza base at Tonys (token fee required). Our chips are also gluten free and are fried separately.

Please note, for guests with serious nut allergies, we highly recommend not attending the Birds of Paradise displays as the birds do eat nuts, including peanuts.

Yes we provide a range of refreshing alcoholic beverages at Tonys, our Italian-style pizzeria. We sell a range of beers, wines and cider. We do not currently offer spirits or cocktails. Alcoholic drinks are served in degradable plastics for safety purposes. For the purchase of alcohol, photographic ID may be required. If no ID is provided when requested, there will be no sale.
