East Coast Truckers Return

The East Coast Truckers charity convoy is set to return on Sunday 24th August, marking its 38th year of bringing joy and unforgettable memories to disadvantaged children across the East of England. This much-loved annual event sees a spectacular line of brightly decorated lorries travel in convoy, giving children facing incredibly challenging circumstances a magical day out they will never forget.

Every year, families and communities line the route to cheer on the convoy, waving and showing their support as the trucks make their way through towns and villages. For many, it has become a cherished local tradition that embodies community spirit, generosity, and compassion.

This year promises to be no exception, with dozens of drivers volunteering their time and vehicles to give the children an extraordinary experience. Local businesses play a vital role in making the event possible, generously donating their trucks and the commitment of their drivers to ensure the convoy continues its proud legacy. The day is further supported by the emergency services, who not only help keep the convoy moving smoothly and safely but also add to the excitement with their flashing lights and sirens delighting the crowds.

From the thrill of riding in a powerful lorry to the fun-filled activities awaiting them at the park, the convoy is about creating smiles and memories that last long after the day is over.

Andrew Fuller, Sales and Marketing Manager at the park, expressed his pride in being part of such a meaningful tradition: “We are incredibly proud to host the East Coast Truckers convoy again this year. It’s a day that truly captures the spirit of kindness and community, and we feel privileged to welcome so many families and children who deserve a moment of pure joy.”

The East Coast Truckers convoy continues to be a shining example of what can be achieved when people, businesses, and communities come together for a great cause – spreading happiness, raising awareness, and giving children a day they will never forget.
