We are excited as the voting is now open for the 2021 Theme Parks UK Awards. Nominations are now open in 21 categories. Last year Pleasurewood Hills won 3 bronzes awards for Best Value, Best Social Media Engagement and Best Lockdown Activity.
Established in 2000, the ThemeParks-UK.com website has been providing an independent guide to the UK’s theme parks for 20 years. The website enables visitors to access a wide range of information on the most popular theme parks in the UK.
ThemeParks-UK.com launched the inaugural UK Theme Park Awards last year, in celebration of 20 years as an independent consumer guide to UK theme parks.
For the very first time, the British public were invited to vote for their favourite theme parks in national awards recognising the best rides and attractions, shows and events, as well as the theme parks offering the best accommodation and accessibility. 154,104 public votes were combined with the scores from the judging panel to determine the winners in each category.
Sales and Marketing Manager of Pleasurewood Hills is thrilled about the awards. “We are so excited. Last year we had the privilege to win three awards and be nationally recognised. The competition was tough especially with the biggest parks in the categories. We are so proud of the team and thankful to all our guests and associates for the support. The categories include best family and classic rollercoasters, plenty of potential for Cannonball Express, Egg-Spress and Wipeout. For Best Animal Experience, the incredible work done at the Sea Lion Splash would be a great choice and of course, we as a park are a great choice for families, value and so much more. For what has been a challenging year for the industry, it would be wonderful to be awarded for the hard work done by all here at Pleasurewood Hills. Fingers crossed”.
