A fantastic money-saving offer is being offered to visitors to the Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival which takes place this Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th July.
Pleasurewood Hills have been gold sponsors of the airshow for several years, and this year, have become the only ‘platinum’ sponsors of the event.
In an effort to encourage greater donations from visitors, Pleasurewood Hills will give a “two for one” discount voucher to all individuals who put a minimum donation of £2 into the Air Festival collection buckets. This fabulous offer means that everyone using the special voucher to buy one full price adult ticket at Pleasurewood Hills will receive one free adult entry - making a great saving of £15.95 on the full adult price.
There is no charge for spectators to enjoy the Air Festival, but visitors are asked to make a donation in order to cover costs. Despite high attendances at the spectacular annual event, organisers are concerned that the show may have to be axed in future unless sufficient donations are received.
An Air Festival spokesman said: “We are very grateful to Pleasurewood Hills for making this extremely generous offer which provides a big incentive for people to make a £2 contribution. This will help us meet our costs this year and ensure that the event will continue next year.”
The 50-acre fun park is home to a huge range of family rides, offering something for children of all ages. Including the breathtaking excitement of the awesome ‘Wipeout’, the East of England’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster!
Also included in the entrance fee are three not-to-be-missed, top-rated shows. Visitors will be amazed by Claude, George and Marcus as they demonstrate their power, agility and intelligence in the amazing sea lion show, and all guests should take the chance to enjoy the cheeky parrot show!
Topping the bill for 2009 is a brand new show created just for Pleasurewood Hills. The Circus and Tango show brings together world-class performers from Argentina, France, Hungary and Belarus. Inspired by long-held traditions and folklore, the show combines the elegance, intimacy and passion of the Argentine tango with the fun and excitement brought by acrobats, jugglers and clowns. With traditional colourful costumes, and a modern take on tango music, this is a performance that simply must be seen!
The promotional vouchers obtained at the air festival can be used any time up until the family fun park at Corton closes on November 1.
