My Day Out At Pleasurewood Hills
Written by Hollie Higgins age 13
Twisting and turning
As quick as can be
Over the loop-the loop
Bump, crash, argh!
Jolting into other people
Nearly toppling over
Dart, neigh, prance
Slowly down below
Waiting for the motion to stop
Zoom, fall, splat
Soaring down below
Waiting for my big surprise… splash!
Flying round and round
Up above and right down low
Riding on my best elephant
The day has come to and end
Finally sleeping in the car
Trying to remember each ride in turn
The loop-the –loop, the bumper cars
The merry-go-round, the log flume
And the flying elephant!
Hoping and wishing it would go on forever! |
